Ethical Management
Harim Holdings, along with Harim Co., Ltd., Sunjin, Farmsco, and Pan Ocean, has established and implemented practical ethical management regulations. To prevent corruption, we have set up internal reporting system regulations and operate an anonymous reporting system, known as the Help Line.
Respect for Employees
We practice "people-centered management," striving for a healthy society where everyone can thrive. Harim Co., Ltd., Sunjin, Farmsco, Pan Ocean, and NS Home Shopping have implemented systems and channels for internal communication to promptly address employee grievances and concerns. Sunjin promotes family-friendly workplace policies, including support for childbirth and parenting, flexible working systems, and earned the "Family-Friendly Management Certification." Additionally, we provide mandatory legal training to strengthen human rights education, covering topics such as sexual harassment prevention, disability awareness, and workplace bullying prevention, with a 100% completion rate.
Safe Work Environment
We prioritize providing a safe and healthy working environment, while also supporting work-life balance to ensure a high quality of life for our employees. Harim Co., Ltd. has implemented a safety and health management system, conducting regular training and supervision to achieve zero workplace accidents. Farmsco has developed and rigorously enforces a comprehensive safety and health policy. In December 2023, Pan Ocean obtained ISO 45001 certification for proactive accident prevention efforts, damage minimization, and integration of safety awareness through the safety and health management system. Pos SSM also earned ISO 45001 certification for ship and safety management services, adhering to international safety and health standards and establishing a robust, integrated management system.
Mutual Growth
We are committed to fostering mutual growth with agriculture, rural areas, and farmers by enhancing cooperative management. Through financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), expanding distribution channels, and improving productivity, we ensure sustainable development for all. Harim Co., Ltd. practices fair operations by offering technology and financial support programs to partners. NS Home Shopping strengthens mutual growth by providing SMEs with financial assistance, expanded distribution, knowledge sharing, productivity support, and educational programs. Sunjin supports partners through initiatives such as trade receivables guarantees, loan payments, equipment installation support, safety education, and consulting on tax and feeding management. Farmsco maintains regular consultation channels to cultivate strong collaborative partnerships with suppliers.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities
We are committed to discovering and nurturing local talent, especially in the regions where our core operations are based. Collaborating with local universities near our headquarters and business sites, we run various talent development programs aimed at cultivating key personnel for the food industry. Since 2017, Farmsco has operated a scholarship program at Yeonnam University. Harim Co., Ltd. supports regional talent development through a variety of initiatives, including donations of books and toys for infants and toddlers, scholarship selection, youth cultural exploration programs, in-house instructor-led educational donation programs, and career exploration and mentoring programs for college students. Since 2008, NS Home Shopping has hosted "NS Cookfest," Korea's premier culinary competition, promoting public health and advancing food culture while contributing to the food industry. In 2022, the event expanded into the "NS FOOD FESTA," a food culture festival held in Iksan, Jeonbuk. We also sponsor the Harim Cup Professional Women's Baduk Championship, contributing to the development of brain sports.
