      2. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing Tasks

      Harim Holdings outsources some tasks to external parties to improve services and ensures that the outsourced companies handle personal information safely in accordance with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. The information provided for outsourced tasks is limited to the minimum necessary for smooth service delivery and is selectively provided to the relevant companies according to the service requests of the information subjects.

      • In the case of an outsourcing contract, we document and store the contract in writing or electronically, specifying compliance with instructions regarding personal information protection, confidentiality of personal information, prohibition of third-party provision, liability in case of accidents, the outsourcing period, and the return or destruction of personal information after the processing ends.
      • If there are any changes in the content of the outsourced tasks or the subcontractors, we will promptly disclose these changes through this privacy policy.

      3. Procedure and Method for Destroying Personal Information

      Harim Holdings destroys personal information without delay when the retention period has expired, or the purpose of processing has been achieved.

      If personal information retention is required under other laws after the information subject has given consent or the processing purpose has been fulfilled, the relevant personal information is moved to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different storage location for continued preservation.

      The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows:

      • Destruction Procedure

        Harim Holdings establishes a destruction plan for personal information (or personal information files) that needs to be destroyed. The personal information (or personal information files) is selected, and with the approval of Harim Holdings' Personal Information Protection Officer, the information is destroyed.

      • Destruction Method

        Personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format is destroyed in a way that prevents the records from being reproduced. Personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is shredded or incinerated to ensure destruction.

      4. Measures Regarding the Destruction of Inactive Users' Personal Information

      Harim Holdings destroys personal information of inactive users to protect their privacy. Service usage is determined based on connection or inquiry records over the period specified by law.

      Harim Holdings will notify the inactive users of the impending destruction of their personal information, the expiration date, and the relevant items of personal information via email at least 30 days prior to the destruction.

        Antivirus programs are utilized to prevent damages caused by computer viruses, and regular updates are performed to prevent personal information breaches.

        Security systems employing encryption algorithms are used to securely transmit personal information over networks.

        Regular vulnerability assessments and intrusion detection systems are in place to monitor illegal intrusions and prevent personal data leaks due to hacking.

        The number of personnel handling personal information is minimized, and security training is provided to relevant employees.

        Access rights to the personal information processing system are granted according to defined procedures, and periodic reviews and revocation of access rights are conducted.

      7. Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices

      Harim Holdings operates "cookies" that store and retrieve users' information as necessary.
